Tom Krochock - Trumpet

Tom is active as performing artist in the Twin Cities and greater MN/WI areas. Having received awards for his classical as well as his jazz playing, Krochock feels comfortable instructing on a wide variety of styles.
Tom studied at the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire, well renowned for its dynamite Grammy- nominated Jazz Ensemble I. Tom served in the spot of Lead trumpet and jazz soloist, covering both areas for several years. While there, he also honed his craft of arranging and sound technology, arranging tunes for many ensembles and recording/ producing three full length albums. Krochock also attended the prestigious Henry Mancini Institute for three years, cementing his understanding of commercial and film music. While there, he performed with and backed some of the biggest names in music today including Herbie Hancock, Quincy Jones, Dianna Krall, Christian McBride, Roy Hargrove, Vinnie Coaliuta, Patti Austin, John Clayton and many others.
